    Meeting-Place Optimizer

    Problem
    Build and maintain full stack features for a meeting place optimizer with a large Java codebase (Apache Wicket, Tomcat), where high availability and sub-second response times are the requirement.
    Approach
    Introduced SonarQube and lead the code quality gate on code smells, vulnerabilities and technical debt.
    Impact
    More than 1000 critical and high impact issues when I started, zero now.
    No unit test coverage when I joined. Raised it to 95 to 98%, and own the validation pipelines and the testing process behind project standards.

    Shipped an Android app in Flutter, then moved to backend Java to build QualityOps, a tool for evaluating and visualizing software quality metrics.

    QualityOps

    Problem
    Engineering teams had no unified way to evaluate and track the quality of their software, metrics were scattered and hard to act on.
    Approach
    Built the backend in Java using TDD, designing optimized algorithms aligned directly with stakeholder requirements.
    Impact
    Wrote the core QualityOps features with TDD, from stakeholder requirements, and reworked the algorithms behind them for speed.
    • Worked on CAST, a cross team test automation project, which improved testing efficiency and coverage accuracy.
    • Employee of the Month, March 2024, for bug resolution speed and code quality.
